Everyone Needs Playtime

In our hectic, modern lives, many of us focus so heavily on work and family commitments that we never seem to have time for pure fun. Somewhere between childhood and adulthood, we stopped playing.

When we carve out some leisure time, we’re more likely to zone out in front of the TV or computer than engage in fun, rejuvenating play like we did as children. But play is not just essential for kids; it can be an important source of relaxation and stimulation for adults as well.

There doesn’t need to be any point to the activity beyond having fun and enjoying yourself. By giving yourself permission to play with the joyful abandon of childhood, you can reap oodles of health benefits throughout life.

More LittleFee Dresses

I finished sewing these little dresses yesterday. The first one is my favourite and will be a keeper, the other I'm not so sure about yet. I really enjoyed playing about and modifying my pattern to come up with these new styles and will probably make a few more to add to my Etsy store in the near future.

I tried the dresses on Marie Ann and Gina (my Honey Delf) and found that it was a perfect fit for both, so these two girls will be able to share a wardrobe of clothes.

I seem to be stuck on making pretty dresses at the moment, but once I get this out of my system, I really want to tackle something a little more adventurous. Maybe period, goth or steampunk...any thoughts?
