Everyone Needs Playtime

In our hectic, modern lives, many of us focus so heavily on work and family commitments that we never seem to have time for pure fun. Somewhere between childhood and adulthood, we stopped playing.

When we carve out some leisure time, we’re more likely to zone out in front of the TV or computer than engage in fun, rejuvenating play like we did as children. But play is not just essential for kids; it can be an important source of relaxation and stimulation for adults as well.

There doesn’t need to be any point to the activity beyond having fun and enjoying yourself. By giving yourself permission to play with the joyful abandon of childhood, you can reap oodles of health benefits throughout life.

Introducing Jeannie in Pink

#1 in the "Jeanie of the Lamp" series. She is 6.5 inches 16.5cm) tall. This cute little camel is looking for a home and is available from my website.

SORRY SHE IS NOW ADOPTED!

But don't worry, I am hoping to add her sister to this series at a later date. She will have dark brunette hair and a green harem outfit.

Work In Progress

I began my life as a thought, then I was designed, traced, cut and pinned...now this can hurt a little!

Then, after being sewn, stuffed and jointed, I received my senses ... yep I could see, hear and smell, though I couldn't yet spit!

My tail was added and I received my toes and mouth ... that's how come I could 'speak' to you today.

But my birth mum has to dress me before I can be seen in public. Can you guess whether I am going to be a girl or a boy?
