Everyone Needs Playtime

In our hectic, modern lives, many of us focus so heavily on work and family commitments that we never seem to have time for pure fun. Somewhere between childhood and adulthood, we stopped playing.

When we carve out some leisure time, we’re more likely to zone out in front of the TV or computer than engage in fun, rejuvenating play like we did as children. But play is not just essential for kids; it can be an important source of relaxation and stimulation for adults as well.

There doesn’t need to be any point to the activity beyond having fun and enjoying yourself. By giving yourself permission to play with the joyful abandon of childhood, you can reap oodles of health benefits throughout life.

Finally Finished


I have just spent several hours writing on my Fantasy blog. The inspiration to write came from my two fairly recent purchases . . . a  Luts Tiny Delf Bubble Mint Centaur (Jack Sculpt White Skin Human with Mint Horse Body) and an Impldoll Baby (Teno Sculpt in Normal Skin).
 
I really thought it was time to give my little creatures some characteristics of their own and yet I still wanted to be able to tie them in with the other dolls who all live in the Elvin Forest. If you get a few moments to yourself, pop on over here and see if you can imagine what they are all going to look like when they are all completed.       Hi Alejandra,
      The Centaur shouldn't be too far away now, but I have only just ordered Teno, so he will probably arrive late June or early July. I'm pleased you liked my little characters, I don't know that I have a great gift, but I do enjoy drifting off into another world. Ha ha!

      Thanks JS, yes they do have quite a variety, though I must admit some of them don't do much for me at all. I think Teno and Gela will fit in with my story quite well. Though now I have seen the preview of Fairyland's new additions, I sort of wish I'd waited.
