Everyone Needs Playtime

In our hectic, modern lives, many of us focus so heavily on work and family commitments that we never seem to have time for pure fun. Somewhere between childhood and adulthood, we stopped playing.

When we carve out some leisure time, we’re more likely to zone out in front of the TV or computer than engage in fun, rejuvenating play like we did as children. But play is not just essential for kids; it can be an important source of relaxation and stimulation for adults as well.

There doesn’t need to be any point to the activity beyond having fun and enjoying yourself. By giving yourself permission to play with the joyful abandon of childhood, you can reap oodles of health benefits throughout life.

This is how Angelina Fibre comes...colour DUSKY ROSE.

FIRST STEP: Lay a sheet of baking down on your ironing board.


SECOND STEP: Then add a sprinkling of the first colour you wish to blend.


This is my second colour SUGAR PLUM.
THIRD STEP: Add a second sprinkling of fibre using the second colour.


FOURTH STEP: The third colour CRYSTAL AMETHYST is added.


FIFTH & SIXTH STEPS: I added a little more of the second colour
and finally more of the first.
FINAL STEPS: Set your iron to the SILK setting,
add a layer of baking paper on top of all the fibres,
then gently press.


And there you have it, a pretty sparkling fabric!

      Hi Sharon,
      If you type Angela Fibre in Google search, you should find a UK eBay listing for 16 colours or http://www.winghamwoolwork.co.uk/64-angelina-fibre also carries it. But you must order the heat bondable one or it won't work.

      Hi Alejandra,
      If you put several layers down it can become quite stiff and makes great fairy wings. I love the fact it can be cut without freying, so it has endless possibilities. Do try it, I'm sure you'll find a use for it.
