Feeling Blue . . . So Add a Little Darjeeling

This morning after breakfast, I wandered into my doll room and found Lady Grey in a very low mood so I asked her what was wrong . . .

It wasn't too long until Darjeeling arrived, she was most concerned . . . it wasn't like Lady Grey to be so down in the mouth, she's usually quite the life of the party.

So it was up to Darjeeling to make her feel better.

That had made Lady Grey feel so much better . . . that was until she felt a drip on her head, then a drop run down her face. She held out her hand.

But you already know, that when there is rain mixed in with a little Darjeeling sunshine, there are rainbows. And of course at the end of every Darjeeling rainbow there are . . . NO! Not pots of gold, nor are there leprechauns . . . but there are fairies . . . lots of very pretty fairies!

And so . . . as the story goes . . . all is well that ends well.

Early Morning Walk

Darjeeling and Lady Grey took their puppy for a little walk this morning.

Not really pleased with the way LG's wig looks on her, so I removed the bun.

Better, but I am actually thinking I may change it to something softer around her tiny face. Perhaps a curly bob, or soft waves. What do you think?

Diorama Update

I covered the back wall with a spotted pale blue scrapbooking paper and added deeper plain blue feature walls either side. The panelling under the frieze is also paper.

Too Steep

Lady Grey and Darjeeling thought today, would be a good day to go on a bike adventure, but it wasn't long before they ran out of steam and came to a complete standstill.

 

 

Lady Grey: I'm telling you this hill is too steep to ride up on bikes!

 

Darjeeling: Okay, the sun's out, let's walk then.

 

Little Lady Grey

Little Lady Grey (PF Icis) arrived home today. She has the cutest button nose and I just love her, the tan is beautiful. :)

LG: I ask you, is this any way to treat a Lady?

Me: Well it's better than showing you off naked.

LG: But I'm not supposed to wear this colour, let alone wear hand me downs!

Me: Don't worry, your wardrobe will be here soon enough.

LG: Not soon enough for me. Hmph!

Me: Well that's no way for a Lady to behave.
I've a good mind to put you back in your box.

LG: Oh please don't, it's so dark in there.

Me: Do you promise to behave?

LG: I promise.
