Everyone Needs Playtime

In our hectic, modern lives, many of us focus so heavily on work and family commitments that we never seem to have time for pure fun. Somewhere between childhood and adulthood, we stopped playing.

When we carve out some leisure time, we’re more likely to zone out in front of the TV or computer than engage in fun, rejuvenating play like we did as children. But play is not just essential for kids; it can be an important source of relaxation and stimulation for adults as well.

There doesn’t need to be any point to the activity beyond having fun and enjoying yourself. By giving yourself permission to play with the joyful abandon of childhood, you can reap oodles of health benefits throughout life.

More Wigs

The FMD wigs I ordered last week arrived today and Gum Drops was so happy she could hardly contain herself! Finally she had her blue hair that she has been so patiently waiting for.
 
 
Gum Drops: Mummy do you think I look like Veronica Lake?
Me: I don't think she had blue hair, sweetheart.

 
Gum Drops: Not the colour silly, the style!
It makes me look a little mysterious, don't you think?
Me: I don't know about mysterious, but you certainly look very pretty.
 
I did order four wigs, but the others are for PukiFees that haven't arrived as yet!
(Now is that not surprising?) :)

      Thank you Alejandra. It was so hard trying to find the right blue for her, so many of the wigs were either too bright or leaning towards mint/teal. I am really pleased with this colour though.

      Thanks Jordy. I ordered 4, one is on GD and the remaining 3 are for are for the ones I haven't ordered yet. PukiFees are like eating Cheezels, once you have one, you just cant stop!!

    I had to look up Veronica Lake on Wikipedia, but that is certainly a peek-a-boo-look on Gum Drops. Very mysterious (especially as the wig's color is a mysterious blue). You know what is most mysterious about gum drops here in my home? They vanish so easily and no one knows whereto...

      I had a feeling Veronica Lake would be before your time Aurinel, she was even before mine, but I'm pleased you looked her up. :) I used to love eating gum drops as a kid, but I haven't seen them around for years. I wonder if it's because they all disappeared at your home. LOL!

      Yes Lily, the colour is very pretty and although I have had another arrive since this post, there are still two more to come . . . haven't ordered them yet though. I am waiting to see if FL release some new PF sculpts this year.
